Oporto Home Inspections (OHI) is an independent property inspection company based in Porto, serving buyers across Porto, Gaia, and the north of the country.
We specialise in pre-purchase inspections for residential properties — giving you a clear, unbiased picture of what you are buying before you sign anything. Our written reports cover structure, damp, electrics, plumbing, roof, and all major systems, in plain language you can actually act on.
Most homes in Porto are beautiful — and old. Tile facades hiding moisture damage, original electrical panels that haven't been touched in decades, timber floors over hollow voids, and roofs that have outlived their waterproofing. We know what to look for because we've seen it all, many times over.
Our inspectors are completely independent — we have no ties to estate agents, developers, or sellers. That means our only job is to protect your interests. We work for you.
