What an OHI inspection report looks like

Three real pages from a sample report, with the client details removed. This is the same layout you receive.

Cover and property overview page of an OHI inspection report
OverviewProperty type, year built, area, date and overall outcome on one page.
Electrical installation page of an OHI report with photographs and two flagged items
Findings with photographsOne section per part of the building. Each flagged item says what it is, why it matters and what to do.
Conclusion page of an OHI report ranking four priority actions
Priority listThe report ends with actions in the order you should deal with them: immediate, urgent, recommended, monitor.

How we rank what we find

  1. Immediate

A safety risk. Do not use or occupy until it is dealt with, for example an expired gas hose.

  2. Urgent

Needs a qualified professional soon, for example an electrical socket without an earth connection.

  3. Monitor

Not a problem today. Keep an eye on it or ventilate and maintain, for example low-level damp.
