Commercial roof drone inspection in Porto
Warehouses, factories, shopping units, offices and hotels have big roofs and expensive leaks. A drone survey shows the whole roof in one visit, with no scaffolding, no rope access and no one on a fragile surface.
What we check
- Membrane and coverings: splits, blisters, laps and seams on flat roofs
- Ponding water and falls to drainage
- Drains, gutters and outlets: blockages, debris and overflow marks
- Metal and fibre-cement sheeting: corrosion, loose fixings and cracked sheets
- Rooftop plant and ducts: condition, supports and penetrations
- Skylights, roof lights and hatches: seals and damage
- Parapets, flashings and abutments
- Solar panels: visible damage, fixings and shading debris

Why it matters
A leak in a commercial building means stopped production, damaged stock and disputes about who pays. Finding the weak point before the next storm is cheaper than finding it after.
A drone survey gives you dated, geotagged images of the whole roof: useful for planned maintenance, for a lease handover, for due diligence on an acquisition and as evidence for an insurance claim.
Nobody needs to step on the roof, which is the main safety risk on large industrial roofs.
How we rank what we find
The same four levels run through every OHI report, so you always know what to deal with first.
- Immediate
Active leak path
Split membrane, open seam or failed outlet letting water in now.
- Urgent
Blocked drains, ponding water
Water that does not leave the roof will find a way in.
- Recommended
Planned repair
Corroded fixings, ageing sealant, worn flashings.
- Monitor
Ageing but sound
Record it now and compare at the next survey.

Questions about this service
Does it disrupt the business?
No. The drone flies over the roof while operations continue. We agree the flight window with you.
Can the report be used for insurance?
Yes. The images are dated and located, and the report describes each finding, which helps support a claim. Your insurer decides what it accepts.
Can you inspect regularly?
Yes. Many owners repeat the survey every year or after storms so they can compare condition over time. Ask us about a recurring programme.
Do you need permission to fly?
Flights follow Portuguese and EU drone rules. We check the site, the airspace and any authorisations before we book.
How do I get a quote?
Send us the address, the type of building and the approximate roof area. We quote within one business day.
